Couple's therapy

When relationships are in trouble, often it is not about the content of the conflicts but the underlying emotional connection. Or perhaps yours is the kind of relationship that seems calm and fine on the surface, but has emotional distance. In either case, creating a loving and satisfying relationship has to do with having a certain kind of conversation that starts the healing process. I can help you have that conversation. In our sessions, we will build upon what’s good in your relationship and learn how to end harmful patterns that create distance and conflict in your relationship.
I work with couples to establish the kind of safe, intimate, and close connections we need and crave. We will collaborate to improve communication and conflict management skills, as well as learn ways to sustain a close, connected partnership.

At the core of my practice, I create a comforting space that allows you and your partner to get the root cause of issues and develop better ways to communicate with each other. I help my clients work through personal issues and past traumas by combining mindfulness and theories of neuroscience.

In our sessions we will work on:
— Turning conflict into a positive growth experience
— Improving communication and intimacy
— Creating a close and connected bond between you and your partner
